Butterflies

Hanging over your precious head, are butterflies.
Wings fluttering like gauzy curtains, across your sweet brow.
Watching over you all night, like a tigress guarding her cubs.
Keeping you safe and snug as a bug.
Butterflies whose beautiful light shines on your angelic face, as if from Heaven.
Showing you are as precious as a priceless gem.
